Story Basis:
The Tres Spade Hotel has expanded to Dubai, you're initially there for a training seminar when you learn you'll be officially working there instead. Your first day in Dubai, you have an unpleasant run-in with the Sheikh of Dubai. The Japanese Ambassador, Shuichi Hishikura convinced him to sentence you to a life in prison. Eisuke and the auction managers come to rescue you. The Sheikh pardons you on the condition you work hard at the Tres Spade Hotel and Hishikura will be keeping you under surveillance.

The auction managers move their penthouse to the new hotel and will be living in their own estates in Dubai. You start your new life in a foreign country and move in with Eisuke on a private island he bought just for the two of you.

You attend an IVC party with Eisuke when a bomb goes off in the ballroom. The auction managers believe someone's out to bring Eisuke's career to ruins. Not only that but Hishikura is staying in the VIP guest room at the Tres Spades and asks you to be his exclusive maid. His growing interest in you sparks jealousy in Eisuke with this love triangle.

More trouble starts to brew when the hotel is being accused of being built on illegal funds and tax evasion. You get kidnapped and sold at the auctions again and this time the person who bought you is none other than Hishikura.

How will Eisuke save you?

His Personality:
This season, Eisuke shows a gentler side only with you and actually cherishes you as his girlfriend. Once you move in with him, he promises to kiss you every morning. I think it's sweet. πŸ˜Š He's usually calm and collected but he's seen blushing a lot more this season which shows he's getting comfortable around you.

~ And the guys make fun of him for it. HAHA! πŸ˜‚

Now he (sorta) asks you to cook for him and he loves it over the hotel's chef's food (he won't say he loves it but it's obvious he does)

Your safety comes as the first priority to him and he will do everything to protect you ~ because you're that precious to him πŸ˜‰. He can be jealous whenever Hishikura is involved because the latter is interested in you (most likely in a romantic way)

Right off the bat, Eisuke expresses his dislike in Hishikura only for one reason when the latter expresses interest in his girl (you). It's obvious they have similar personalities and they often clash when it comes to you, making them rivals. He probably feels threatened that there's another person who's just as calculating and ambitious as him.

Eisuke claims the reason he often pages you is that he thinks it's fun to see you run to him. You pout about it but you know his real reason is the same as you; he just wants an excuse to see you. Aww~ 😊

He's surprisingly a picky eater. He hates green peas but won't admit it. Saying he doesn't like to go out of his way to eat it He's basically saying he doesn't like it but won't come out and say it (so childish)

He only ate them because you made him dinner for the first time, and you're the first person to cook for him. Now that he's had a taste of your food he loves it and prefers it to the hotel food (not that he will be honest about it).

Eisuke carries himself confidently like no one can beat him in anything and he's very calculating. But this season has become unpredictable to him and he's shown panicking a lot when it comes to you.

Another reason why he hates Hishikura is that he stole you from him when he bought you at the auction. ~ Who wouldn't hate the guy who stole their girlfriend from them?

***Be warned for any spoilers***

Overall Opinion:
The plotting and drama in this season seem more interesting than the first season and I really enjoyed it. Although there's on minor issue ~ I'll get to that later.

Eisuke seems more open with his affections for the MC like promising to kiss her every morning. When he panics it shows how much he cares for her and how much she means to him. Even taking measures to protect her.

One thing I really liked is how he goes out of his way to make sure she's safe and protected. Even though it sort of failed when Hishikura bought her at the actions. Instead of pushing her away like he did in the first season, Eisuke keeps her by his side and even make sure to come home from the hotel early so she wouldn't be bored at home alone. I think that's progress.

He's can be awkward sometimes when communicating his feelings and just can't seem to be honest when he enjoys something she does for him. He's also awkward when consoling the MC because he made her cry.

Even though he hates Hishikura and wants to keep her away from him, he respects her decision when she says she wants to work as Hishikura's maid at his request. He respects her work ethics and will comprise for her sake but when the issue of her safety comes as a concern he won't negotiate.

I loved the moment Eisuke rushed to the MC when Hishikura bought her. It's one of the highlights of the story and it actually shows how much she means to him. He immediately tries to take her back but according to his auction rules, he can't.

Hishikura's condition to release you is if he gets to be an auction manager. Eisuke can't accept that without consulting with the other auction managers first so he had to leave you with him before he could come up with a plan to take you back.

He especially hates it when Hishikura buys you clothes which I find ironic when he buys her clothes himself. He really can't stand the idea of someone taking his girlfriend from him and it makes him all the more determined to take her back.

The MC is still naive and trusting as ever, and that's what makes him worry all the time (especially when she said she'll work for Hishikura). While Eisuke spends a majority of the story thinking of ways to protect her and get her back, the MC is also thinking about Eisuke and how best to help him and boost the hotel business while they are apart. I almost felt sorry for Hishkura when he (seems to) genuinely like the MC but all she has on her mind is Eisuke.  ~ Kinda makes me want to give his route a try, but maybe next time.

The minor issue with the plotting is the bombing incident was never explained clearly. It's like they forgot it happened. Hishikura was accused of setting it up but later proven he had nothing to do with any of the incidents that happened in the story. His role is solely being a part of a love triangle and nothing else. So... plothole, I guess?

Another thing about the plot is Hikaru's role in the story seems a little suspicious. I can't seem to pinpoint it exactly because I don't have a lot to go on with his minimal appearances. He has this mysterious air about him. (He is one of the playable characters of KBTBB but he doesn't have a route until Season 3).

If Eisuke had been this sweet in the first season, he wouldn't have so much hate than he does. If you enjoyed Season 1 and want to see more of Eisuke being sweet and caring towards you, you will definitely enjoy this story. Happy playing!

Overall score: 8/10
